How about being Who You Really Are!

How many special people change, how many lives are living strange…

“Whatever happened, it happened for good.
Whatever is happening, it is happening for good.
Whatever will happen, it will also happen for good.

What of yours did you lose?
Why or for what are you crying?
What did you bring with you, for you to lose it?
What did you create, for it to be wasted or destroyed?

Whatever you took, it was taken from here.
Whatever you gave, it was given from here.

Whatever is yours today, will belong to someone else tomorrow.
On another day, it will belong to yet another.

Change is the law of the universe.”

-The essence of Bhagavad Gita (The holybook of Hinduism)

Whenever you fail something or when you couldn’t accept the things that are happening to you, it will be very comforting to read the above lines. The trick is to stay in the balance even if something good happens to you. When you understand and remember these lines, you will be comfortable in leading a good life without being carried away by the life’s happenings.

Our Deepest Fear

Here is an excerpt from Marianne Williamson’s book, A Return to Love:

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.’ We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?

You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we’re liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Seek the Almighty

The Light of the World

Seek Him in the smile of your friends, in the glow of angry eyes, in the throb of love, in the storm of passion.

Everywhere it is His glow that is gleaming through different emotions, thoughts and actions.

Seek Him in the thrill of dawn, in the sadness of dusk, in the embrace of rains, in hustling storms, in the murmuring breeze – in green pastures, in the blue lotus, in the sangam (confluence) of graceful Ganga and the restless Jamuna.

He is everywhere – in everything – not in mortal legs and hands – but in His presence as the Divine Joy Infinite.

You are in Him – You are but Him alone.
