Day 4: Course 4: Seasonal Delight

Traditionally, the fourth course in a seven course meal is either a sorbet or a palate cleanser. A sorbet is sort of like an ice cream and there was no way I could make one at home. A palate cleanser is a beverage that has neutral kind of taste such as lime and serves to cleanse your taste buds from the taste of the previous courses. Naturally, I do not need a palate cleanser as my seven course meal is spread over seven days!

So, I went for a Seasonal Delight instead. Mangoes, Kiwi and Peaches sprinkled with finely ground sugar.

Seasonal Delight

Please note that not every course is supposed to be ‘cooked’ or heavy as there are several courses to be consumed and one cannot stuff their stomachs in the initial courses! πŸ˜›

Watch out for a main course tomorrow!
